 ANAMBRA POLICE ARREST SUSPECTED DRUG DEALER, RECOVER ILLICIT DRUGS WORTH ₦5.8 MILLION IN OTUOCHA As CP Nnanna notes that illicit drugs can fuel criminality, charges officers to sustain targeted operations to nip crime in the bud The Anambra State Police Command has arrested a 28-year-old suspected drug dealer, identified as Chinedu Nwankwo, and recovered a large quantity of suspected Cannabis Sativa, Methamphetamine and Colorado (Colos), estimated at ₦5.8 million. The suspect was arrested in the early hours of today, 29th August 2026, by operatives of the Rapid Response Team during an intelligence-driven patrol operation along the Nteje–Otuocha Road. Preliminary investigation indicates that the suspect was allegedly conveying the illicit substances to Otuocha, Anyamelium, Nzam, Umuleri and Aguleri areas for delivery to suspected criminal elements. FCT MINISTER OF STATE SAYS THE NYSC PROGRAMME IS A CORNERSTONE OF NATIONAL INTEGRATION AND DEVELOPMENT SINCE ITS INCEPTION IN 1973.(PHOTO).

 FCT Minister of State, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, says the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme is a cornerstone of national integration and development since its inception in 1973. 


Mahmoud made this known at the NYSC pre-mobilization workshop held in  Abuja. 


The minister called for support for the young graduates and ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to contribute positively to society. 


The NYSC Director General, Brig Gen. Yusha’u Ahmed, spoke on the importance of effective service delivery in a successful mobilization process and promised to ensure the right things are done at all times throughout the process.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
