The Government categorically refutes claims of lopsidedness and emphasizes its unwavering commitment to the principles of fairness, equity, and national unity. All appointments are made in strict adherence to federal character principle, as enshrined in Section 14 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as Altered). FHC ISSUED AN ARREST WARRANT FOR DANA AIR MANAGING DIRECTOR, AFTER HE FAILED TO APPEAR IN COURT FOR TRIAL. (PHOTO).

 A Federal High Court in Abuja has issued an arrest warrant for Dana Air Managing Director, Hathiramani Ranesh, after he failed to appear in court for trial. 


Justice Obiora Egwuatu granted the order on Monday following an application from the Attorney-General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi, who filed six charges against Ranesh and two others.


The judge directed that Ranesh must appear in court on January 13, 2025, before any preliminary objections will be considered.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
