  Atiku Fires Back at Obasanjo, Says He Stood by Ex-President in Prison and After Release Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has responded to former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s recent criticism, insisting he stood by the former military ruler during his incarceration and after his release from prison, and declaring that history cannot be rewritten. Obasanjo had on Friday described his decision to pick Atiku as his running mate in the 1999 presidential election as the biggest mistake of his presidency. He made the remark in Lagos during a fireside conversation with entertainer and activist Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, at the public presentation of Charly Boy’s foundation and memoir, *999: A Memoir in Tribute to Late Justice Chukwudifu Oputa*. FHC ISSUED AN ARREST WARRANT FOR DANA AIR MANAGING DIRECTOR, AFTER HE FAILED TO APPEAR IN COURT FOR TRIAL. (PHOTO).

 A Federal High Court in Abuja has issued an arrest warrant for Dana Air Managing Director, Hathiramani Ranesh, after he failed to appear in court for trial. 


Justice Obiora Egwuatu granted the order on Monday following an application from the Attorney-General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi, who filed six charges against Ranesh and two others.


The judge directed that Ranesh must appear in court on January 13, 2025, before any preliminary objections will be considered.
