 Jill Biden to release memoir View From the East Wing in June  Former First Lady Jill Biden will release her memoir, View from the East Wing, on June 2. The book reflects on her experiences during Joe Biden’s presidency, including his decision to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race. Published by Gallery Books, a division of Simon & Schuster, the memoir will also be available as an audio edition narrated by Biden herself. The book offers an intimate look at life as First Lady during major historical events, including the Covid-19 pandemic and the aftermath of January 6, while sharing her personal perspective on the presidency and its impact on her family. For the first time, she details her experiences surrounding her husband’s choice not to seek reelection, sharing both the uplifting and challenging moments of that period.  First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu pays condolence visit to Lagbaja’s family


Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has paid a condolence visit to the family of the Late Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Taoreed Lagbaja.


The First Lady was accompanied on the visit by the wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima and the wife of the National Security Adviser, Hajia Ribadu.


They were received by the wife of the Chief of Defence Staff, Mrs Oghogho Musa.


While comforting the widow, Mrs Mariya Abiodun Lagbaja and the children, Oluremi Tinubu noted that the Lord only can determine when a man dies.


She urged the family to be comforted by the good life and legacies the late COAS left behind.


She equally urged the children to remain focused and pursue the ideals their father lived for.


The Late Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Taoreed Lagbaja, died after a period of illness at the age of 56 years.
