 I Don’t Wish It On You – Genevieve Nnaji Knocks Trolls Age-shaming Her Veteran Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji has responded to social media trolls who made age-shaming comments about her. According to Naija News, a user on X reacted to Genevieve's post on April 3, 2025, stating that she couldn't escape aging and was getting older. The comment read, “You really cannot cheat nature. My fine wine is finally growing old.” In her reply, Genevieve pointed out that things could be worse; she could age significantly and eventually die if she were fortunate. She wrote, “It gets worse, bro. I’ll get so old I’ll die. If I’m lucky.” Another troll referred to her as “mummy,” suggesting she was old, but Genevieve quickly dismissed the comment, saying she wouldn’t wish old age on him. FLOOD DISPLACED THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE FROM THEIR HOMES IN BISEMI KINGDOM IN YENAGOA, BAYELSA STATE. (PHOTOS).

 Flood has displaced thousands of people from their homes in Biseni Kingdom in Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.


Most of the victims from several communities across the Kingdom who are taking refuge on a bridge, road and makeshift camps have sent a passionate save our souls cry to the Federal and Bayelsa State government to come to their rescue.


Many homes, schools, health facilities, worship centres, roads and farmlands have been submerged by the rampaging flood waters


Deputy Executive Director of the advocacy group, Environmental Defenders Network, Chief Alagoa Morris who led a team of journalists on assessment of the flood situation described the conditions of the Biseni people as pathetic calling for urgent action from government at the federal and state levels as well as interventionist agencies.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
