 Set designer Mary Kate Golding found dead in Queens home as police investigate possible murder-suicide Police are investigating the deaths of television set designer Mary Kate Golding and her husband after the 34-year-old was found fatally stabbed inside her Queens home. According to the New York Police Department, officers responded shortly after midnight on Tuesday, July 21, to a residence in Astoria, where they found Golding with a fatal stab wound to her back. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Several hours later, at about 6:39 a.m., officers responded to a separate 911 call reporting an unconscious person near Astoria Park South and Shore Boulevard. Police found an unresponsive man in the park, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. An NYPD source identified the man as Joseph Azzaretto, Golding's husband. FLOOD DISPLACED THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE FROM THEIR HOMES IN BISEMI KINGDOM IN YENAGOA, BAYELSA STATE. (PHOTOS).

 Flood has displaced thousands of people from their homes in Biseni Kingdom in Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.


Most of the victims from several communities across the Kingdom who are taking refuge on a bridge, road and makeshift camps have sent a passionate save our souls cry to the Federal and Bayelsa State government to come to their rescue.


Many homes, schools, health facilities, worship centres, roads and farmlands have been submerged by the rampaging flood waters


Deputy Executive Director of the advocacy group, Environmental Defenders Network, Chief Alagoa Morris who led a team of journalists on assessment of the flood situation described the conditions of the Biseni people as pathetic calling for urgent action from government at the federal and state levels as well as interventionist agencies.
