  “₦1,000 for just 8 tomatoes” — Man fumes over rising food prices, says Nigerians are suffering under hardship A Nigerian man has gone viral after lamenting the rising cost of food, revealing that he bought just eight tomatoes for ₦1,000 at a market in Yaba. In a video shared online, he questioned how families, especially large households, are expected to survive amid rising food prices, stressing that basic ingredients like tomatoes, pepper and onions have become increasingly difficult for many to afford. The visibly angry man also criticised the state of the country, expressing frustration over hardship, insecurity and the rising cost of living in Nigeria. Watch video below.

 I will continue Supporting Mohbad’s Wife - Nollywood Actress and Activists Iyabo Ojo speak out 


Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has said she will stop supporting Omowunmi, the wife of the late Nigerian singer, Mohbad, when proven guilty with concrete evidence by authorities in the controversy surrounding the death of her husband.


 Recalls that Mohbad died on September 12 and was buried the following day.


On September 21, the body of the 27-year-old music star was exhumed by the police for autopsy.


The circumstances surrounding his death have continued to stir up controversies, with many pointing accusing fingers at Omowunmi


In an Instagram live session, Iyabo Ojo stressed the importance of awaiting legal judgment, and not using social media to judge the widow.


The movie star urged critics to present evidence to the authorities instead of engaging in speculation.
