 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service.  ‘I’m straight’ — Desmond Elliot finally addresses gay allegation


Nollywood actor-turned-politician Desmond Elliot has finally spoken about being gay.

 Elliot was recently named among top Nigerian celebrities alleged to be involved in homosexuality.

The list, which captured the names of many prominent figures in the country, sparked a fierce backlash from netizens.

However, speaking in a viral video of his interview with TVC, he described the accusation as baseless, stating that he had more important issues to focus on than responding to malicious gossip.

He said: “Why would I respond to allegations made against me when it did not reduce or increase my life? Secondly, it is an opinion that is being conceived. And I don’t think it is necessary for me to come out and say it’s true or not true; as long as I’m affecting people positively, I’m good. So let me state it very clearly that I am straight.”
