 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. May Edochie bags Brand Ambassador of the year award

May Edochie, the estranged wife of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, has been left overwhelmed and honored as she bags another award.


The mother of four was honored with the Brand Ambassador of the Year award at the just concluded Nigerian Social Media Awards. Though the fast-rising ambassador and influencer weren’t available to receive the award, her daughter, Danielle, had stood in the gap for her.


Taking to her Instagram page, May expressed her heartfelt gratitude to her family members and online family for their encouragement and unwavering support which made it happen. She also gave thanks to all the brands working with her for allowing her to represent their organizations. She noted how without them, the achievement wouldn’t be possible.


May Edochie stated that the award means more to her than just a recognition of my efforts, as it is a testament to the power of collaboration, perseverance, and passion.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
