 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  NPFL Postpones Kano Pillars, Enyimba Clash


The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has announced the postponement of Kano Pillars match day 14 home clash against Enyimba International of Aba, BSNSports.com.ng reports.


The match, initially slated for Sunday, December 1, 2024, has been postponed to an unconfirmed date due to Enyimba's engagement in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage fixtures.


In a statement issued by the league organizers, the NPFL assured fans of both clubs that a new date and time for the iconic encounter, popularly referred to as the "Zobia Clasico," will be communicated in due course.


In a related development, the Kano Pillars Matchday 13 away fixture against Lobi Stars has been brought forward to Saturday, November 23, 2024. The match will now take place at the Lafia City Stadium, a change necessitated by adjustments to the league calendar.
