Some northerners creating impression Tinubu hates north – Atiku’s ex-aide Bwala

Daniel Bwala, ex-aide to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has suggested that some northerners in President Bola Tinubu’s government are creating the impression that the President hates the north.

Bwala stated that Tinubu does not hate northern Nigeria neither does the zone hate him.

The statement comes after the controversy surrounding the arraignment of the malnourished #EndBadGovernance protesters.

Uproar and public outcry greeted the arraignment of protesters, mostly minors, who participated during the recent #EndBadGovernance protest.

Following the outcry, Tinubu on Monday directed the immediate release of all the detainees.

However, Bwala urged the President to use unconventional approach in engaging with the northern elites.

“The president @officialABAT does not hate the Northern Nigeria; neither does the North hate President Tinubu. It seems the northerners around the president are either creating the impression or fueling it.

“Mr President is urged to use unconventional approach in engaging with the northern elites, because it may appear the conventional access is being manipulated,” Bwala posted on X.
