Trump issues pardon to former Republican congressman Stephen Buyer after insider trading conviction    President Donald Trump has issued a full pardon to former Republican congressman Stephen Buyer, who served nearly two years in prison after being convicted of insider trading tied to post-congressional consulting work. Buyer was sentenced in 2023 to 22 months in prison for illegal stock trades made while working as a consultant and lobbyist. He was ordered to forfeit more than $350,000 in ill-gotten gains and pay a $10,000 fine. He was released from custody in 2025 after his conviction was upheld, with the Supreme Court declining to take up his appeal earlier this year. Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has finally responded to those querying her over the father of her newborn son


We reported on Monday last week that the actress had welcomed a baby boy, Oluwafirewamiri. Noting how her treasure has arrived, Dayo expressed gratitude to her Maker as she expressed how excited she was to be a mum.


On Monday, November 25th, the Yoruba actress held a naming ceremony for her newborn son, which had in attendance a few of her colleagues like veteran Fali Werepe, Omowunmi Ajiboye, Damola Olatunji, Iyabo Ojo, and Tope Osoba.


From the clips of the naming ceremony, many noticed that the father of her son was noticeably absent, which left many bombarding her with questions.


Replying to them in a Live session, Dayo Amusa questioned if their husbands were missing or if they were counting census. She told her haters that it wasn’t a must for people to congratulate her.


Speaking on becoming a new mum, Dayo expressed joy at finally being called a new name and someone’s mother.
