  President Bola Tinubu has identified the creative economy as a pivotal element of his administration’s economic diversification agenda, reaffirming his commitment to positioning Nigeria’s creative sector as a driving force for global influence. The President stated this at the launch of the 2024 Abuja International Carnival at Eagle Square, Abuja. President Tinubu, represented by Vice-President Kashim Shettima, said the carnival reaffirms the essence of who Nigerians are—”a people of culture, a people of art, a people of colour, and a people of shared values”. TEXAS MAN FOUND GUILTY OF TAKING THE LIFE OF HIS STEPDAUGHTER'S EX AFTER HE THREATENED TO SHARE HER NUDE PHOTOS. (PHOTO).


 Texas man found guilty of taking the life of his stepdaughter's ex after he threatened to share her nude photos. 


A Texas jury has found 42-year-old Jessie Brown guilty in the 2015 shooting death of John Franco.


According to witnesses, Brown had become enraged with Franco after he had threatened to share indecent photos of Brown's stepdaughter. 


Brown and 2 other individuals had driven around with the intention of assaulting Franco if they found him. However when their paths crossed with Franco, Brown exited the vehicle and discharged a firearm through the driver's side window of Franco's vehicle. The round fatally struck Franco in the upper left side of his head.


Jessie Brown was sentenced to 40-years in prison.
