 UK Annual Inflation Jumps on Higher Energy Bills


Britain's inflation rate took an unexpected jump in October, surpassing the Bank of England’s target as energy bills put pressure on households and businesses alike. 


Official data showed the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) rose to 2.3% from a low of 1.7% in September, marking a sharp rebound.
