 Why I want to capture Ayra Starr – Ugandan President’s son, Muhoozi Kaineruga Tongues wag as Muhoozi Kainerugaba,son of Uganda’s president, Yoweri Museveni, makes a bold declaration about renowned Afrobeats singer, Ayra Starr. Ayra Starr delivered an epic performance at the 27th edition of Blankets and Wine in July 2024, performing alongside renowned South African duo, Blaq Diamond Muhoozi Kainerugaba made the declaration about the Mavin Records label signee in a recent tweet on X (formerly Twitter). Tinubu Appoints Jami’u Abiola As SSA On Linguistics & Foreign Matters


President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR,  has approved the appointment of Jami’u Abiola as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Linguistics and Foreign Matters.


The appointment takes effect from 14th November, 2024.


A statement by Director, Information & Public Relations,  Segun Imohiosen on behalf of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, said the appointment is in line with the provisions of the Certain Political and Judicial Office Holders (Salaries and Allowances, etc) Act 2008, as amended.


Until his appointment, Jami’u served as the Special Assistant to the President on Special Duties in the Office of the Vice President.


President Tinubu tasks the appointee to work closely with the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs and bring his wealth of experience to bear in his new assignment.

  SSANU, NASU threaten strike over withheld salaries The Joint Action Committee of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions have threatened to disrupt industrial peace in universities should the government fail to release the withheld salaries of members. The salaries were seized by the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari during their strike in 2022. The unions, in a joint letter signed on Friday by the President of SSANU, Muhammed Ibrahim and General Secretary of NASU, Peters Adeyemi, questioned the rationale with which the government released four months withheld salaries to members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities but failed to release the withheld salaries of non-academic staff.
