 TROOPS ARREST SUSPECTED KIDNAPPER, RECOVER AK-47 RIFLE ALONG BENIN–SAPELE ROAD Troops of 4 Brigade Nigerian Army, Operation WABAIZIGAN, have arrested a suspected kidnapper and recovered an AK-47 rifle and ammunition during a targeted operation along the Benin–Sapele Road in Ikpoba-Okha LGA of Edo State. The suspect, identified as Olamide Oyeniyi, was arrested on 12 September 2026 at Obaretin Community by troops conducting operations to disrupt criminal activities and safeguard major transportation routes within the area. Items recovered from the suspect include one AK-47 rifle, one magazine and eight rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunition. Other items recovered are one Tecno mobile phone, two bags, one torchlight, one music box and assorted charms.  US election: ‘God stopped the witch, granted Trump victory’ – Fani-Kayode


Amid the ongoing election in the United States of America, former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode said God has stopped the witch and granted former President Donald Trump victory.

Fani-Kayode said there is nothing ‘they’ did not do to stop Trump, including trying to jail and kill him but the Lord was with him.

He made the assertion in a post on his X handle on Wednesday.

The statement comes as Trump is on course to win battleground States after he won Georgia and North Carolina.

Fani-Kayode suggested that Trump is on course to win because God is with him.

He posted: “The Lord stopped the witch & granted @realDonaldTrump victory.

“This is the greatest comeback in the history of politics. There is nothing they did not do to stop him including trying to jail & kill him but the Lord was with Him.

“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! He is faithful, He is true! Glory be to His holy name. Congrats to @realDonaldTrump!”
