 ‘Friend Of A Thief Is A Thief’, Defence Minister Warns Terrorist Sponsors The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (rtd), has cautioned Nigerians against aiding terrorists, insurgents, bandits, or other criminal elements, stressing that anyone who supports criminal activities will face the full weight of the law. General Musa made the warning on Saturday while speaking as the Special Guest of Honour at the Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day 2026 Golf Tournament held at the TYB Golf Resort and Country Club, Yar’Adua Barracks, Abuja.  Vinícius Júnior to Miss Liverpool Clash Due to Hamstring Injury


Real Madrid forward Vinícius Júnior has been ruled out of the upcoming Champions League match against Liverpool due to a hamstring injury, the club confirmed on Monday.


“After undergoing tests today, Vinícius Júnior has been diagnosed with a hamstring injury in his left leg by Real Madrid’s medical team,” the club stated.


Spanish reports suggest that the Brazilian winger is expected to be sidelined for around a month, meaning he will also miss the Champions League match against Atalanta on December 10, in addition to Wednesday's clash at Anfield.


Vinícius played the full 90 minutes in Real Madrid's 3-0 La Liga win over Leganés on Sunday, providing the assist for Kylian Mbappé’s opening goal.


The 24-year-old has been in exceptional form this season, outshining summer signing Mbappé. He scored four goals in as many Champions League appearances and has netted eight times in 13 La Liga matches. He also finished second in the 2024 Ballon d'Or voting.


Real Madrid, the defending champions, have had a challenging start to their European campaign, suffering two losses in their first four group-stage matches, leaving them 18th in the standings.


Meanwhile, Liverpool, under new manager Arne Slot, are leading both the Premier League and the Champions League.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
