 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results. Nollywood actress Foluke Daramola has clapped back at a fan who berated her for mourning the late actor Charles Olumo, better known as Baba Agbako


We reported on Thursday that Nollywood had announced the demise of the veteran actor. The Theatre Arts And Motion Pictures Association of Nigeria, TAMPAN announced his demise through the page of its president, Bolaji Amusan, popularly known as Mr Latin. Mr Latin, on behalf of the group, said the veteran died on Thursday and was aged 101.


Foluke, via her Instagram page, had shared a video of her visiting the late actor’s house. In the video, the movie star was captured shedding tears as she mingled with his family. Sharing the video, Foluke described Agbako as a rare gem as she revealed that she would surely miss him.


Taking to her comment section, the fan questioned when last she posed or visited him


“When last did you post or visit him, dey play”.


Replying to him, Foluke called him insàne for such a question as she made him know that she would be blocking him because she didn’t need bitter hearts on her page.
