 President Trump awarded inaugural FIFA Peace Prize at World Cup draw in Washington  Gianni Infantino, the FIFA President presented the honour onstage at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, saying Trump had been selected “in recognition of his exceptional and extraordinary actions to promote peace and unity around the world”. “This is your prize, this is your peace prize,” Infantino said, after Trump took the stage to accept the trophy, a medal and certificate. “There is also a beautiful medal for you that you can wear everywhere you want to go.”   FIFA says the prize is for “individuals who help unite people in peace through unwavering commitment and special actions”.  Accepting the award, Trump called it “one of the great honours of my life”, before claiming to have “saved millions and millions of lives – the Congo is an example, over 10 million people killed and it was heading for another 10 million very quickly. AFROBEATS STAR 'ROTIMI' HAS REVEALED WHY HE LEFT AMERICAN RAPPER '50 CENT'S RECORD LABEL, G-UNIT. (PHOTO).

 Afrobeats star, Rotimi, has revealed why he left American rapper, 50 Cent's record label, G- Unit.


Rotimi disclosed that he exited the label because the boss didn't understand his style of music. According to him, afrobeats

wasn't mainstream in the Western world at the time he was signed to G-Unit.


Speaking in a recent interview with Adesope Live, Rotimi said, 


"I was signed to G-Unit, but then in 2017/2018, Afrobeats was not mainstream in the United States. Davido and Wizkid had records that were gaining traction in Boston, New York, but it wasn't mainstream at that time.

"Afrobeats was big in the States, but they weren't following it in LA. So, 50 Cent and I hada

conversation. He was like, What's this sound you are trying to do? said, 'Bro, it's Afrobeats.

"I have a record called Love to blow up. But if you don't understand what it is, then I have to go somewhere else.' He let me out of my deal because we disagreed on the creative process, Afrobeats."
