 PRESS RELEASE OPERATION HADIN KAI FOILS MASS ABDUCTION ATTEMPT AT FGGC MONGUNO Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), in collaboration with personnel of the Nigeria Police Mobile Force (MOPOL), successfully foiled an attempted mass abduction by ISWAP terrorists at the Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Monguno, at about 0130 hours (1:30 a.m.) on 19 July 2026. The FGGC facility is currently being utilized by the Borno State Government as temporary hostel accommodation for students of the Federal Polytechnic, Monguno. The terrorists reportedly gained access to the facility with the assistance of suspected collaborators in an attempt to abduct students. Alert security personnel immediately engaged the terrorists with coordinated and overwhelming firepower, effectively stalling their advance with Sector 3 Quick Reaction Force (QRF) immediately reinforcing the school. AFROBEATS STAR 'ROTIMI' HAS REVEALED WHY HE LEFT AMERICAN RAPPER '50 CENT'S RECORD LABEL, G-UNIT. (PHOTO).

 Afrobeats star, Rotimi, has revealed why he left American rapper, 50 Cent's record label, G- Unit.


Rotimi disclosed that he exited the label because the boss didn't understand his style of music. According to him, afrobeats

wasn't mainstream in the Western world at the time he was signed to G-Unit.


Speaking in a recent interview with Adesope Live, Rotimi said, 


"I was signed to G-Unit, but then in 2017/2018, Afrobeats was not mainstream in the United States. Davido and Wizkid had records that were gaining traction in Boston, New York, but it wasn't mainstream at that time.

"Afrobeats was big in the States, but they weren't following it in LA. So, 50 Cent and I hada

conversation. He was like, What's this sound you are trying to do? said, 'Bro, it's Afrobeats.

"I have a record called Love to blow up. But if you don't understand what it is, then I have to go somewhere else.' He let me out of my deal because we disagreed on the creative process, Afrobeats."
