 Anambra Government Reaffirms Mega City Drive, Demolishes Scores of Illegal Structures By Ruth Orji  The Anambra State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to the ongoing regeneration drive and restoration of sanity across the state through enforcement exercises and demolition of illegal structures statewide. The exercise was led by the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Barrister Chijioke Ojukwu, on July 8, in line with the Physical Planning Law of Anambra State. Stating that it is no longer business as usual, the commissioner urged residents to take every notice received from the ministry seriously and comply promptly with planning regulations henceforth. He, however, said several eviction notices had been served but were taken with a pinch of salt, adding that demolitions followed because structures defaced the environment or obstructed pedestrian walkways. Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola is singing the praises of her senior colleague Funke Akindele


Taking to her Instagram page to celebrate the filmmaker for hitting over a billion Naira in her cinema movie, Wumi called her a Woman King. She stated that she is celebrating the hard work, consistency, grace, and resilience in Funke.

Her post is coming less than a week after her ex-friends, Toyin Abraham, and Seyi Edun, reconciled. 


We reported that Seyi had extended an olive branch to her Toyin by promoting her new movie, Bhad and Boujee. The mother of twins had shown support for the mother of one at the Cinema, where she urged her fans to come watch the movie with her.


Surprisingly, Toyin expressed gratitude to her for the support as she commented on her post with, “Thanks love.”
