 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable.  Austrian Police Discover Body of Homicide Victim 25 Years Later


A body discovered by construction workers in the cellar of a Vienna apartment building had been buried there for 25 years, Austrian police revealed on Tuesday.


In April, workers found the decomposing remains wrapped in plastic bags, buried in the cellar floor of an apartment block in the Margareten district after being alerted by a foul smell.


Extensive forensic investigations confirmed that the victim, believed to be around 30 years old at the time of death, was a homicide victim who had been buried at the location for approximately 25 years.


Authorities have released photos of the man's burgundy tracksuit in an effort to gather more information. Despite international police cooperation and comparisons with database records, the identity of the victim remains unknown.


The workers had been excavating the basement in preparation for a new concrete floor when the body was discovered.
