 NEMA COORDINATES SAR OPS AT THE SCENE OF BUILDING COLLAPSE INVOLVING A THREE STOREY BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT GUDU AREA OF FCT At about 0945hrs on Saturday 16th May, 2026, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was alerted of a building collapse at Gudu District of FCT.  Critical stakeholders including Federal Fire, FCT Fire, NSCDC, NPF, FRSC and Federal Capital Territory Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) were activated while a response team of NEMA from the Abuja Operations Office led by the Head of Operations Mr Zakari Abubakar  and operatives from AYA Emergency Response Bay (ERAB) were deployed to the scene for quick response and coordination.  A reinforcement team  from NEMA Headquarters led by the Director Search and Response (DSAR) Air Cdre Bature Usman was also on ground to provide necessary backup and supervision. CP MM AUWAL APPEAL FOR CALM AS THE INVESTIGATION INTO THE GRUESOME MURDER OF SAMAILA GAINA COMMENCES IN EARNEST


Bauchi State – The Bauchi State Police Command is committed to maintaining the safety of our communities and is actively addressing recent criminal incidents. On 14 December 2024, at about 0310 hours, the command received an emergency call from Alhaji Samaila Gaina, a 75-year-old resident of Gaina Village, reporting an armed robbery and tragic shooting at his home.


At around 0250 hours, four unidentified armed assailants broke into his residence, resulting in the unfortunate loss of Alhaji Mohammed Samaila, aged 57, who was fatally injured during the incident. The assailants fled with an undisclosed amount of money. The victim was transported to the Federal Medical Center in Misau, where he was pronounced dead.


In response to this serious incident, the Bauchi State Police Command immediately dispatched a team of homicide detectives to the scene to conduct a thorough investigation. Our dedicated investigators are focused on identifying and apprehending those responsible for this heinous act, and we are committed to ensuring justice for the victim and his family.


CP Auwal Musa Muhammad, the Commissioner of Police for the Bauchi State Command, has expressed deep condolences for the loss suffered by the family and condemned this act of violence. He reassures the public that the Command is fully invested in enhancing community safety and encourages anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward and assist with the investigation. Together, we can work towards a safer environment for all citizens.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
