   ACCIDENT HITS ABENGA ON ALIADE-MAKURDI ROAD  10th January, 2026      A road accident has just occurred at Abenga community along the Aliade–Makurdi Road in Benue State. The incident, which happened moments ago, has drawn the attention of motorists and residents in the area.  Details of the cause and possible casualties are yet to be confirmed as of the time of filing this report. The development was reported by Benue Info-pedia’s Aliade correspondent, Mc Oliver “De Busy-brain.”  Authorities and emergency responders are expected to assess the situation.  BENUE GOVT TAKES OVER A SET OF TWINS DELIVERED BY MENTALLY ILL MOTHER

Dr. Terungwa Stephen Hwande, the Chief Medical Director of Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH), has launched a compassionate initiative to assist a woman who recently gave birth to a set of twins on the Ipav (Gboko) k/Ala road.


Comrade Asortar James Asortar, SA to the State Governor on Social Media disclosed this in a statement.


He said: “Recognizing the urgent need for medical attention and support, Dr. Hwande has directed that the mother and her newborns be brought to BSUTH for comprehensive care.


“This initiative underscores Dr. Hwande’s unwavering commitment to humanitarian services and the welfare of the community.


“The hospital is prepared to provide the necessary medical assistance and support to ensure the well-being of both the mother and her infants during this critical time.”.
