 PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS MS. ADEDAYO BENJAMIN LANIYI AS DG/CEO OF THE MARYAM BABANGIDA NATIONAL CENTRE FOR WOMEN DEVELOPMENT President Bola Tinubu, has approved the appointment of Ms. Adedayo Benjamin Laniyi as the Director-General /Chief Executive Officer of the Maryam Babangida National Centre for Women Development (MBNCWD) and  members of the Governing Council  for an initial term of four (4) years. In a letter signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. George Akume the appointment which takes effect from April 18, 2026, is in accordance with the provisions of Section 7 (1) and (3) of the National Centre for Women Development (Amendment) Act, 2023.  Bollywood actor Vikrant Massey, known for his stellar performances in films like 12th Fail and The Sabarmati Report, has announced his retirement from acting, leaving fans shocked. The actor shared the unexpected news on Instagram on Sunday, revealing that his upcoming film Zero Se Restart, slated for release in 2025, will be his last.


In his heartfelt post, Massey expressed gratitude for the support he received throughout his career and shared his desire to focus on his personal life. “It’s time to recalibrate and go back home as a husband, father, and son,” he wrote, adding that he also needs to reflect on his journey as an actor.
