 PRESS RELEASE OPERATION HADIN KAI FOILS MASS ABDUCTION ATTEMPT AT FGGC MONGUNO Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), in collaboration with personnel of the Nigeria Police Mobile Force (MOPOL), successfully foiled an attempted mass abduction by ISWAP terrorists at the Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Monguno, at about 0130 hours (1:30 a.m.) on 19 July 2026. The FGGC facility is currently being utilized by the Borno State Government as temporary hostel accommodation for students of the Federal Polytechnic, Monguno. The terrorists reportedly gained access to the facility with the assistance of suspected collaborators in an attempt to abduct students. Alert security personnel immediately engaged the terrorists with coordinated and overwhelming firepower, effectively stalling their advance with Sector 3 Quick Reaction Force (QRF) immediately reinforcing the school.  Couple breaks world record, marries at 102, 100


Love knows no age limits, and Bernie Littman, 100, and Marjorie Fiterman, 102, are living proof.


The centenarian couple, who found love in a senior living facility, officially became the world’s oldest newlyweds with a combined age of 202 years, Guinness World Records revealed on Tuesday.


Both Marjorie and Bernie were said to have lived over 60 years of marriage to their respective first spouses, but when their spouses passed away and they moved into the same floor of a senior living facility in Philadelphia, USA, neither of them expected to find new love just a few doors down.


The pair reportedly bonded by sharing meals and participating in their retirement community’s productions.


While Bernie credits his long life and happiness to reading and staying up-to-date, Marjorie credits hers to buttermilk.
