 Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Otti, OFR, has approved 100 hectares of land within the Abia Airport Project Site for the Nigerian Air Force to build its training base in Abia State. The Nigeria Air Force had requested an expansion of the 50 hectares of land already earmarked for its training base at the Abia Airport Project Site.  Governor Otti gave the approval on Tuesday, March 10th, in his office while receiving a delegation of the Nigeria Air Force (NAF), Ground Training Command led by the Commander, Air Vice Marshal Adebayo Gabriel Kehinde, who called on him. "The partnership is such that Abia State Government is handling the runway, and the Federal Government is handling the Airport Terminal.  "We expect the runway to be ready very soon. The renowned Afrobeats star held a sold-out concert in Amsterdam which was attended by dignitaries .


On Saturday night, November 30, 2024, the DMW boss made his debut at the iconic venue, thrilling fans with a dynamic show alongside guest artists like Zlatan Ibile, Frenna, Darkoo, Logos Olori, and Ir-Sais.

With this feat, Davido joins the ranks of Nigerian stars who have shut down the Ziggo Dome, following Burna Boy in April 2022 and Wizkid in November 2022.
