 NEMA COORDINATES SAR OPS AT THE SCENE OF BUILDING COLLAPSE INVOLVING A THREE STOREY BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT GUDU AREA OF FCT At about 0945hrs on Saturday 16th May, 2026, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was alerted of a building collapse at Gudu District of FCT.  Critical stakeholders including Federal Fire, FCT Fire, NSCDC, NPF, FRSC and Federal Capital Territory Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) were activated while a response team of NEMA from the Abuja Operations Office led by the Head of Operations Mr Zakari Abubakar  and operatives from AYA Emergency Response Bay (ERAB) were deployed to the scene for quick response and coordination.  A reinforcement team  from NEMA Headquarters led by the Director Search and Response (DSAR) Air Cdre Bature Usman was also on ground to provide necessary backup and supervision. Denzel Washington's Daughter Katia Unveils Tall Blond Wife!!


Denzel Washington’s daughter Katia Washington stepped out last night with her wife, Colleen Wilson – and fans are shocked at the couple.

Katia is Denzel and Pauletta’s second child, and was born on Nov. 27, 1986, in L.A. 


Katia studied at Yale University, where she graduated in 2010. Though Katia keeps her personal life private, she has followed the career path of many other members of the Washington family and works behind the scenes as a producer for Bron Studios.

In her career, she has worked as a producer on Fences, Malcolm & Marie, Breaking and Sharp Stick.

Katia and her father have a very good relationship, and he recently attended Katia’s wedding, to model and former ballet dancer Colleen Wilson. Colleen is 6 foot 4 inches tall, and Katia is 5 foot 2. The couple have a more than one foot discrepancy in height.


They make a very odd looking couple. But hey … you never know who you fall in love with …
