 FIRST IMPORTED EBOLA CASE: NIGERIA EVACUATES INDEX CASE TO SWITZERLAND AS CONTAINMENT MEASURES CONTINUE The Nigeria’s confirmed Ebola index case has been medically evacuated from Abuja to Switzerland, following approval by the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate. The forty-two-year-old patient, whose case marked Nigeria’s first imported Ebola virus disease case, was transferred alongside her spouse, who has remained asymptomatic. In a statement posted on his X handle, Professor Pate said the patient was clinically much improved, stable, conscious and able to communicate, with laboratory test results approaching baseline levels. However, the Minister cautioned that the patient’s clinical improvement does not necessarily mean she is no longer infectious, stressing that strict public health protocols remain in place.  EPL: Manchester City Fan Dies After Medical Incident During 2-1 Loss to Man Utd


A Manchester City supporter tragically passed away following a medical emergency during their 2-1 defeat to Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.


The club confirmed the sad news in a brief statement on Monday.


It read: “Manchester City is aware of the tragic passing of one of our supporters following a medical incident at yesterday’s match. Our thoughts are with their family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.”


City had led for most of the match, with Josko Gvardiol's first-half header putting them ahead. However, late goals from Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo allowed Manchester United to come from behind and claim all three points at the Etihad.
