 Somali World Cup Referee Denied Entry to United States Award-winning Somali referee, Omar Artan, has been denied entry into the United States despite holding a valid visa, according to a senior official in Somalia’s sports ministry. Artan, who is set to become the first Somali referee to officiate at the FIFA World Cup finals, was stopped at Miami International Airport and subsequently returned to Istanbul, where he had been residing. The reason for the denial was not immediately disclosed. However, Somalia is among the countries affected by a travel ban introduced by the administration of Donald Trump. INFLUNCER/RADIO JOCKEY, FOUND DEAD IN HER APARTMENT. (PHOTO).


 Simran Singh, a 25-year-old Instagram influencer and freelance radio jockey, was found dead in her apartment in Sector 47, Gurugram, on Thursday, as per police reports. Originally from Jammu and Kashmir, Simran was known for her engaging content and had nearly seven lakh followers on Instagram. Her last post was dated December 13. A friend staying with her alerted the police upon discovering her body.


Police suspect the death to be a case of suicide, although investigations are ongoing. Simran’s body has been handed over to her family, who are grieving the loss of their beloved daughter. She was affectionately called “Jammu Ki Dhadkan” (Heartbeat of Jammu) by her fans, a title reflecting her popularity and connection with her roots.


Prominent leaders from Jammu and Kashmir expressed their condolences. Farooq Abdullah, President of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), and J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah described her death as a tragic loss. They highlighted her “voice and charm,” which resonated with the spirit of the region. The leaders extended their sympathies to her family and fans, praying for strength to overcome this difficult time.


Simran’s contributions as an influencer and RJ made her a beloved figure in Jammu and Kashmir. Her unique voice and vibrant personality left a mark on the cultural fabric of the region. Tributes continue to pour in from fans and public figures, mourning the untimely demise of a young talent whose legacy will not be forgotten.
