A South African woman has taken to social media to express her remorse regarding the treatment of Nigerians in South Africa.  She shared that after spending about a week and a half in Nigeria, she has been deeply touched by the hospitality she received, contrasting it with the lack of such warmth for Nigerians in South Africa. She pointed out that South Africans often become suspicious when they learn someone is Nigerian. She urged her fellow South Africans to travel more, particularly to other African nations. While addressing the issue of xenophobia in South Africa, she made it clear that she does not hold xenophobic views and that not all South Africans do, though she acknowledged that many do have such attitudes. Additionally, she mentioned that Nigerians tend to treat foreigners as guests, even if they are not directly hosting them.
