 Super eagles coach Eric Chelle has signed for a new sports agency to represent him henceforth.  Eric Chelle, head coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, has signed with a new sports agency to represent him going forward.  The move is expected to strengthen his professional management and strategic engagements within the global football space.

 Laide Bakare bags honorary doctorate from American University


Actress Laide Bakare has been conferred with an honourary doctorate in Arts and Humanities by the American University of Peace and Governance, USA.

Sharing the news on her Instagram, Laide said that she can now be addressed as Hon. (Dr.) Laide Bakare.

She expressed gratitude to the university and acknowledged the support of her principal, Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, the Governor of Osun State.

The honorary doctorate recognised Laide’s dedication to governance, leadership, and service to humanity.

She dedicated the honor to her creator, friends, family, and fans worldwide.

Laide wrote: “It is now official to be addressed as Hon. (Dr.) Laide Bakare.

This honor bestowed on me as a Doctor Of Arts & humanities (Honoris Causa) by the American University of Peace and Governance, USA (www.aupgedu.us) is a motivation geared towards dedication to Governance, leadership and service to humanity.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
