 El-Rufai’s Eye Condition Worsening In ICPC Custody, Aide Alleges The media aide to former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, Muyiwa Adekeye, has expressed concern over what he described as the worsening eye condition of his principal while in the custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC). Adekeye also accused the anti-corruption agency of failing to provide El-Rufai with adequate medical care despite repeated complaints about his health. In a statement issued on Friday, Adekeye said the former governor had reported symptoms including swollen, red, and itchy eyes while in detention and had requested medical attention. According to him, family members who visited El-Rufai noticed the condition and alerted ICPC officials, urging them to allow him access to medical treatment.  Police Officer allegedly shot and killed his girlfriend on Christmas Day in Johannesburg.


A police officer is wanted for allegedly murdering his girlfriend, Chesnay Patricia Keppler, on Christmas Day in Eldorado Park, Johannesburg.


Officer Mandla Goodman Buthelezi is accused of shooting Keppler, a 22-year-old Crime Prevention Warden, multiple times through the kitchen window after an altercation.


Buthelezi had allegedly arrived at Keppler’s residence, where she was with her friends and mother, and attempted to force her into a state vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.


After being overpowered by Keppler and her friend, Buthelezi retrieved his firearm from the vehicle and committed the crime before fleeing the scene.
