 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  SKFEST: How Mother, Daughter Won First, Second Positions In Long-Distance Race


An elderly woman and her 17-year-old daughter emerged victorious in the long-distance race held as part of this year’s Southern Kaduna Festival of Arts and Culture (SKFEST).


Elizabeth Nuhu Bawa, the elderly woman, clinched first place, while her daughter, Grace, secured second place in the competition.


The race, held at the Kafanchan sports ground, saw Elizabeth and her energetic daughter outpace many other participants.


Seventeen-year-old Grace expressed her wish to have defeated her mother and claimed the top spot. However, she admitted that her mother displayed greater stamina during the event.


Grace said she remains optimistic about surprising her mother in future competitions, aiming to claim first place next time.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
