 NAF INTENSIFIES AIRPOWER CAMPAIGN, STRENGTHENS AIR PRESENCE IN SOKOTO TO DENY TERRORISTS FREEDOM OF ACTION The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has intensified its airpower campaign against terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and other criminal activities across the North-West, with a strengthened air presence in Sokoto State to support ongoing joint security operations. The initiative reflects the Service’s determination to sustain pressure on hostile elements, enhance aerial surveillance and maintain the capacity for rapid response to emerging threats, while providing effective air support to ground forces operating within the Joint Operations Area. The strengthened air presence is particularly significant in the fight against asymmetric threats, where terrorists and bandits exploit difficult terrain, mobility and concealment to evade ground forces. SNOOKER MATCH ERUPTS INTO VIOLENT CONFRONTATION, ENDING IN SHOOTING IN MPUMALANGA. (PHOTO).

S. A:  A 26-year-old man was arrested in Acornhoek on 27 December 2024, just hours after allegedly shooting a fellow patron in a tavern in Violet Bank, Bushbuckridge.


The incident occurred on 26 December 2024 during a game of snooker, which escalated into an argument. Although another patron intervened and the dispute seemed resolved, the suspect pulled out a firearm and shot the victim before fleeing.

Fortunately, the victim survived and received medical attention at a nearby hospital. The police recovered a firearm with 17 rounds of live ammunition and charged the suspect with attempted murder and unlawful possession of a firearm with ammunition.


He is set to appear in the Bushbuckridge Magistrate’s Court on 30 December 2024

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
