 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  35-Year-Old Man Mobbed for Allegedly Stealing Church Keyboard


A 35-year-old man, identified as Ismaila, was severely beaten by an angry mob on Wednesday in the Okumagba area of Warri South Local Government Area, Delta State, for allegedly stealing a church keyboard.


The mob, after attacking him, placed a motor tire around his neck and paraded him from Willie Street to Okumagba Avenue.


The suspect sustained serious injuries, including a bruised head, as the mob prepared to set him ablaze. However, mobile police officers arrived at the scene in time to rescue him. They transported the suspect to the "B" Division Police Station, assuring the public that he would confess and expose any accomplices.


Despite the intervention, the mob expressed frustration, criticizing the police for preventing them from burning the suspect to deter others from committing similar crimes.


At the time of this report, the suspect had been taken into police custody.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
