 BREAKING NEWS ANAMBRA POLICE RECORD FURTHER BREAKTHROUGH IN OGIDI, RECOVER MORE ARMS In continuation of an earlier operation by Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad, Awkuzu, which led to the arrest of three suspects and recovery of arms in Ogidi on 21st March 2026, the Anambra State Police Command has recorded further breakthrough following sustained investigation and interrogation. The Operatives made additional progress with the arrest of the suspected ringleader of the syndicate, one Chukwuka Anene ‘M’, aged 46 years, who confessed to being the armourer of the gang. The suspect subsequently led Police operatives to the gang’s hideout in Ogidi, where the following items were recovered: two pump-action guns, two locally made Beretta pistols, five rounds of 9mm ammunition, seven live cartridges, a beret linked to a cult group, and body armour. The Command has intensified efforts to apprehend other fleeing members of the gang, while investigations remain ongoing. Further developm...

A 13-YEAR-OLD GIRL WAS MOLESTED IN GUWAHATI ON NEW YEAR'S EVE. (PHOTO).

 A 13-year-old girl was molested in Guwahati on new year’s eve. 

The family has filed a complaint against a young tutor, alleging that he molested her.


The incident took place in the Downtown area of Dispur, specifically on the Saptah Shahid Path. The incident led to the tutor’s arrest. 


A case has been registered at Dispur Police Station under case number 1381/24, invoking sections 126(2), 75(2), and 76 of the POSCO Act, 2012.

 How Suspected Phone Snatchers Killed Army Lieutenant In Kaduna  An army officer identified as Lieutenant IM Abubakar has reportedly been hacked to death by a gang that specialises in phone snatching and other crimes. The deceased was killed in the Unguwan Sarki area of Kaduna metropolis during the week. A popular counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in Lake Chad, Zagazola Makama disclosed this in a Twitter post. Makama described Abubakar as a talented officer.  He said, “Lt IM Abubakar(Isa) A Young Talented Army Officer Was Killed By Phone Snatchers on His Way Home In Unguwan Sarki, Kaduna. May his soul rest in peace.”
