 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. APC CONDEMNES ATTACK ON ITS CHIEFTAIN, SANI SHINKAFI BY YOUTHS IN ZAMFARA. (PHOTO).

 APC condemnes attack on its chieftain, Sani Shinkafi by youths in Zamfara.


The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC has condemned Friday’s attack on one of its chieftains, Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi during a marriage ceremony in Gusau, the State capital.


According to a statement issued by the party’s publicity secretary in Zamfara, Yusuf Idris Gusau, the party is horrified by the actions of irate youths.


Recall that Shinkafi recently urged the federal government to intensify security along Shinkafi axis of the state, following renewed threat by Bello Turji in a video released by the terrorist.


Gusau described the action as unusual of APC supporters who he described as “well behaved party members”.


He said, “This is uncommon of our otherwise well-behaved party youngsters, who may have had some grievances against any member and forgot that the APC has well coordinated channels of addressing all forms of grievances which should have been taken by the APC youth”.


According to Gusau, the party would do all it can to protect its members from embarrassment.
