 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026.  Lagos Police Spokesman Benjamin Hundeyin Promoted to Chief Superintendent of Police

The Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, has been elevated to the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP).


Hundeyin, who succeeded Adekunle Ajisebutu as Lagos police spokesman in 2022 while serving as a Superintendent of Police (SP), announced his promotion on Wednesday.


He shared photos of his decoration by Lagos Police Commissioner Ishola Olawale, captioning the moment on X:

"Behold the latest Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) in town. It is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our eyes."

Hundeyin holds a BA in English Language from Lagos State University and an MSc in Legal Criminology and Security Psychology from the University of Ibadan. He also has a certificate in Civil-Military Coordination from the Martin Luther Agwai International Leadership and Peacekeeping Training Centre, Jaji, Kaduna.


A member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM), Hundeyin has had an illustrious career.


He previously served as the PPRO at Zone 2 Command Headquarters, Onikan, Lagos, and was part of the Nigerian contingent to the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in Darfur, Sudan (UNAMID) in 2020. Additionally, he held the position of Administration Officer at the Force Public Relations Department, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
