 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.  Lagos Police Spokesman Benjamin Hundeyin Promoted to Chief Superintendent of Police

The Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, has been elevated to the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP).


Hundeyin, who succeeded Adekunle Ajisebutu as Lagos police spokesman in 2022 while serving as a Superintendent of Police (SP), announced his promotion on Wednesday.


He shared photos of his decoration by Lagos Police Commissioner Ishola Olawale, captioning the moment on X:

"Behold the latest Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) in town. It is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our eyes."

Hundeyin holds a BA in English Language from Lagos State University and an MSc in Legal Criminology and Security Psychology from the University of Ibadan. He also has a certificate in Civil-Military Coordination from the Martin Luther Agwai International Leadership and Peacekeeping Training Centre, Jaji, Kaduna.


A member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM), Hundeyin has had an illustrious career.


He previously served as the PPRO at Zone 2 Command Headquarters, Onikan, Lagos, and was part of the Nigerian contingent to the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in Darfur, Sudan (UNAMID) in 2020. Additionally, he held the position of Administration Officer at the Force Public Relations Department, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
