 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  Fintiri Appoints Emirs for Newly Created Emirates in Adamawa


Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has appointed emirs and chiefs for the seven newly established emirates. According to the governor’s spokesperson, Humwashi Wonosikou, the appointments were made based on merit and the popularity of the selected individuals.  


The appointments follow the passage of the “Adamawa State Chiefs (Appointment and Deposition) and Matters Incidental Thereto” law by the State House of Assembly on December 10, 2024, and its subsequent signing into law by Governor Fintiri on December 16. This legislation empowers the governor to create new emirates and depose incapacitated traditional rulers.  


The newly appointed traditional rulers are:  

- HRH Alhaji Sani Ahmadu Ribadu: Emir of Fufore  

- HRH Barrister Alheri B. Nyako: Tol Huba  

- HRH Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga: Mbege Ka Michika  

- HRH Dr. Ali Danburam: Ptil Madagali  

- HRH Aggrey Ali: Kumu of Gombi  

- HRH Ahmadu Saibaru: Emir of Maiha  

- HRH John Dio: Gubo Yungur  


Governor Fintiri congratulated the new leaders and urged them to uphold fairness, honesty, and responsibility in their roles. The appointments take immediate effect.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
