Immediate past Vice Chairman and CEO of Lobi Stars FC, Mr Dominic Iorfa has reacted to a report from an extract of the forensic report on the club which recommended that he refund over N1.5 billion naira to the government.

The ex-international, who was visibly angry while speaking with journalists in Abuja, described the report as aimed at tarnishing his hard-earned image of many years and that of his family's reputation.

Iorfa said though he had not been officially served with the report but the Social Media have been awashed with the news which according to him was very embarrassing and unfair to his personality.

The Former Green Eagles of Nigeria speed star said he regretted coming back to Lobi stars by helping the team escape relegation and placing it amongst the top best 5 - teams in Nigeria.

He added that he invested all his resources and lost many of his properties  borrowing money to keep the club because of the love he has for his state.

On the content of the forensic report, Iorfa said those who compiled the report were not be familiar with or understood the intricacies, principles and protocols of Football Administration hence their report shouldn't be taken as serious.

He referred them to the budgetary provisions of the club as well as how monies were spent in running the club, pointing out that the report should have taken into cognizance the monthly subvention of club which is N40m and Weekly prosecution of Matches at N6m per match multiply by the number of 38 league games,  aside salaries, bonuses, purchase of players, kits, FA cup, preseason tournaments etc.

While restating his love for his people, his State and the Club, Iorfa said that despite the embarrassment caused him by the report, that he would seek redress through  the appropriate quarters to save his image as his lawyers are presently studying the situation.

He however stated that he would continue to see Lobi stars as his baby project and pride of Benue state despite the huge debts of over N300m owed him by the club.
