Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has directed the release of N548 million to settle the long-standing dispute between the State Government and the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) over the Endwell Scheme.
The dispute had resulted in prolonged litigation, affecting thousands of teachers across the state.
Acknowledging the challenges faced by the teachers, Governor Uba Sani took decisive action to prioritize their welfare and ensure justice through this significant resolution.
According to the state government, the agreement, signed today, January 30, 2025, marks a pivotal step in improving teachersā welfare and strengthening the partnership between the Kaduna State Universal Basic Education Board (KADSUBEB) and NUT.
