 A Limpopo man who stabbed his girlfriend to death in front of his own mother will spend the next 20 years in prison. The Polokwane High Court sentenced 48 year old Nathaniel Molatelo Mokgehle from Sekonye Village in the Botlokwa policing area for the murder of his girlfriend, 41 year old Mokgadi Julia Mohlaela. The court heard he chased her out of the house and continued stabbing her until she collapsed and died. Mokgehle also received six months for malicious damage to property. The sentence will run at the same time as the 20 year murder sentence. Evidence presented in court showed the victim had previously opened a malicious damage to property case against him. He was still attending court for that case when the murder happened. The attack happened on 08 June 2025 around 16:00 at his mother’s home in Sekonye Village.  How ‘Yahoo boy’ beheaded Abuja corps member, packed dismembered body in bag – Police


Operatives of the Nasarawa State Police Command have arrested a suspected Yahoo boy, internet fraudster, identified as Ajayi for allegedly killing his girlfriend, Salome Enejo for rituals.


The suspect was caught with a fresh human head in Agwan Sarki, Orozo, a boundary area between Nasarawa State and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT on Sunday.


The Nasarawa State Police Public Relations Officer, Ramhan Nansel, who confirmed the development to newsmen on Monday, said the suspect was rescued from being lynched by an angry mob.


The PPRO noted that after the suspect was rescued, he led the operatives to his residence where the dismembered body of the young lady was recovered.


According to the police, the deceased was later identified to be a serving member of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC in Abuja.


The PPRO said, “On Sunday evening, police operatives attached to the Karshi Division rescued one Ajayi from an angry mob that had beaten him to pulp.


“A sack containing a fresh human head was subsequently recovered from him. A follow up investigation led Police operatives to his room where dismembered human body packed into sacks were recovered.


“The suspect has been taken to the hospital for treatment. The victim was later identified to be one Salome Enejo, a 24-year-old resident of Nyanya Abuja and a serving corps member. The Commissioner of Police has ordered an investigation into the case”.
