 El-Rufai to remain in custody as court adjourns bail application to April 14 Justice Rilwanu Aikawa of a Federal High Court in Kaduna has adjourned the hearing of the bail application filed by former Kaduna State governor, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, to April 14th. The bail application of the former governor came up before the court today. April 1. The court adjourned the case after listening to arguments from both the defence and prosecution  El-Rufai was arraigned by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) on a 10-count charge bordering on alleged conversion of public property and money laundering. He pleaded not guilty to all the charges. The court ordered that he remain in ICPC custody pending the hearing of his bail application on the fixed date. The former governor arrived at the court premises around 9:00 a.m. in a black Hilux vehicle, accompanied by DSS officials.

 Hulk: Brazilian footbal star finally marries his ex-wife’s niece in church 


Hulk Paraíba, the Brazilian football star known for his thunderous strikes and dramatic love life, has once again captured headlines.

The 38-year-old Atletico Mineiro striker said his vows again at the second wedding to Camila Ângelo—his ex-wife’s niece. 

According to reports in Brazil, the intimate religious ceremony took place on Friday night, January 3, at the Matrix Church in Campina Grande, Paraíba.


Hulk shared photos from the wedding on his Instagram page, captioning the post:

"Before God and the promises of our love, we are united in one heart, beginning our eternity together, life! I love you"


The couple, who have been together for over four years, exchanged vows in front of just 80 guests, including close family members.


Camila made a grand entrance, escorted by her father, as the ceremony marked the first of a three-day celebration.


The newlyweds aren’t stopping at the church ceremony. 

According to Brazilian portal Leo Dias, On 7 and 8 January, the couple will host a grand celebration in João Pessoa, inviting a larger circle of friends to join in their happiness.

Hulk and Camila’s relationship has been nothing short of controversial. 


Their romance began in 2019, just a year after Hulk’s 12-year marriage to Iran Ângelo ended. 


By 2020, the pair had secretly tied the knot, sparking debates and a media frenzy. 

Despite the scrutiny, their bond grew stronger, and welcomed their first child in 2021.

In December 2023, the couple welcomed their second child, a joyous event they managed to keep under wraps until after the birth.


Currently plying his trade in Brazil, Hulk gained prominence while playing in Portugal, where he won ten titles with Porto, including the 2010–11 UEFA Europa League and three national championships. 


Known for his muscular build and powerful playing style, FIFA describes him as "a direct powerhouse of a centre- or wide-forward." 

His nickname stems from his resemblance to Lou Ferrigno, who portrayed the Incredible Hulk in the 1970s TV series.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity.
