So Linus Williams (Blord) has been released from Kuje prison after fulfilling his bail conditions, finally, freedom after a few weeks in custody. However, here’s the current position of his case:  He is still expected to show up and stand his trial.  If he fails to appear in court even for one day, his bail can be revoked and a bench warrant may be issued against him, meaning a return to Kuje. If the prosecution cannot prove the charges against him, he will be discharged and acquitted. If the prosecution proves the charges, he may be sentenced and sent back to Kuje. I think he should seek a peaceful resolution to the case. Congrats to him on his freedom for now.

INDIA: A SCHOOL PRINCIPAL HAS BEEN SUSPENDED AFTER IMAGES OF FEMALE STUDENTS CLEANING SCHOOL TOILET WENT VIRAL ON SOCIAL MEDIA. (PHOTO).

A school principal in Tamil Nadu’s Palakkodu village has been suspended after images of female students cleaning school toilets went viral on social media. The incident occurred at a government school in the Dharmapuri district that caters to around 150 tribal students from Classes 1 to 8. The images showed young girls dressed in school uniforms holding brooms and cleaning the toilets, sparking outrage among parents and locals.

The parents of the students filed a formal complaint with the education department, alleging that the headmistress had been assigning tasks like cleaning toilets, sweeping the school premises, and fetching water to the children. This led to widespread protests in the village, where residents demanded immediate action against the principal. Protesters, holding placards and raising slogans, emphasized that such duties should not be forced upon students, especially in a school setting.

In response to the growing outcry, the Chief Education Officer of Dharmapuri district launched a probe into the matter. The District Education Officer confirmed that the principal had been suspended and assured the public that a detailed investigation would follow. Officials are now looking into how such practices were allowed and whether other schools in the region have similar issues.

The incident has highlighted concerns about the treatment of students, particularly young girls, in educational institutions. Parents and locals have demanded stricter monitoring of schools to prevent such practices in the future, ensuring that children are provided a safe and supportive learning environment.
