    A 45-year-old domestic worker, identified as Mbango Émilienne Mbenga, was reportedly attacked to death by five dogs at her employer’s residence.  Reports has it that the v!ct!m had just entered the residence when the dogs a++ack£d her, she was overpowered by the animals and died from the injuries sustained in the attack. The dogs were immediately k!ll£d. The victim, who was a mother and have been working as a domestic worker at the residence of Professor Stéphane Ngwanza, Vice-Rector of the University of Yaoundé I. This incident happened in Edéa, Sanaga-Maritime Division, Littoral Region, on Saturday, September 12, 2026.

 Lagos Seals Construction for Blocking Drainage


The Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources sealed a building under construction at No. 109 Alakoro Street, Lagos Island, for stacking materials that obstructed drainage flow. 


Commissioner Tokunbo Wahab emphasized the government's commitment to clearing encroachments, enforcing environmental laws, and regenerating Lagos Island’s infrastructure. Advocacy programs will also promote awareness of environmental conservation.
