 NEMA COORDINATES SAR OPS AT THE SCENE OF BUILDING COLLAPSE INVOLVING A THREE STOREY BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT GUDU AREA OF FCT At about 0945hrs on Saturday 16th May, 2026, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was alerted of a building collapse at Gudu District of FCT.  Critical stakeholders including Federal Fire, FCT Fire, NSCDC, NPF, FRSC and Federal Capital Territory Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) were activated while a response team of NEMA from the Abuja Operations Office led by the Head of Operations Mr Zakari Abubakar  and operatives from AYA Emergency Response Bay (ERAB) were deployed to the scene for quick response and coordination.  A reinforcement team  from NEMA Headquarters led by the Director Search and Response (DSAR) Air Cdre Bature Usman was also on ground to provide necessary backup and supervision.  LANDS BUREAU COMMENCES PROPERTY AUDIT FOR REGULARIZATION PURPOSES WITHIN LEKKI CORRIDOR 


The Directorate of Land Regularization under the Lagos State Lands Bureau has commenced property audit exercises targeting properties without proper land titles in government acquisition/revocation areas within Thera Estate, Miracle Avenue, Sangotedo, Ajah, and Greenland Estate, Olokonla, Eti-Osa.


The team, under supervision by Permanent Secretary, Mr. Kamar Olowoshago and led by Esv. Olayinka Wasiu, Director of Land Regularization, alongside Esv. Kayode Bombata as well as other relevant government officials, focused on engaging residents on the importance of land regularization.


During the exercise, residents were educated on the benefits of obtaining proper land documentation and the potential risks of dealing with land grabbers. 


Esv. Wasiu reiterated that the Lagos State Government remains committed to protecting its residents by ensuring proper documentation of properties, promoting transparency, and preventing illegal activities related to land ownership.


He noted that the audit exercise underscores the government’s dedication to fostering a secure and regulated land tenure system in Lagos State.


A resident of Greenland Estate, one of the locations visited, Mr. Lincoln Chukwunyere appealed to the Lagos State Government to intensify public enlightenment programmes to curb fraudulent practices and ensure residents are better informed about safeguarding their properties and not making their properties DEAD ASSET.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
