 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  LAUTECH Students Protest Over Lecturer Absences and Rising Transportation Costs


On January 20, 2025, students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Iseyin campus, staged a protest against the ongoing absence of their lecturers. The Iseyin campus, which houses the College of Agriculture, was established by Governor Seyi Makinde as part of Oyo State's educational initiative.


The students voiced their frustration over the repeated absence of lecturers who travel from the Ogbomoso campus, and also expressed concern over the increased transportation and accommodation costs since the resumption of classes after the last holiday.


One anonymous student shared that agriculture department students were also protesting the lack of necessary facilities at their farms and raising concerns about transportation and housing costs. The students are calling on the state government and the education committee to intervene and resolve the issues promptly.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
