 PRESS RELEASE FG Flags Off  Three Major Water Supply Projects to Boost Access in Benue State The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Federal Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation, has flagged off three critical water supply projects in Benue State as part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.  The projects which includes rehabilitation and upgrading of the Buruku-Gboko Water Supply Project, Rehabilitation and Improvement of the Wannune Water Supply Project, and Construction of the Ugbema Water Supply Project are aimed at expanding access to potable water, improving public health, and mitigating the prevalence of waterborne diseases in the state. LIAM HAS NO RESEMBLANCE TO MOHBAD- SINGER'S FATHER, JOSEPH ALOBA. (PHOTO).

 Liam has no resemblance to Mohbad ~ Singer’s father, Joseph Aloba.


The father of late singer Mohbad, Joseph Aloba, has reiterated his doubts over the paternity of Liam, his grandson.


Mohbad died on September 12, 2023, and was buried on Sept. 13.


His body was exhumed on September 21, for an autopsy by the Lagos state police command.


Following the controversies caused by his sudden death, Joseph Aloba who was vocal about his demands for justice, called for the probe of Mohbad’s wife, Omowunmi and a DNA test to confirm Liam’s biological connection to him.


However speaking during his latest interview on Silverbird Television, Aloba stated that Liam doesn’t look like his late son, hence the need for a paternity test.


Interviewer; Liam looked like Mohbad?


Aloba responded; “No, with what I am seeing, he’s not my grandson. As a father, they are supposed to bring the child to me.


“When I demand DNA, they were supposed to say ‘Daddy go and do it at your convenient time. It has become public now. Let the court speak to that.


“I would only accept Liam as grandson if the DNA test says otherwise.”

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
