 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. NFL and New Orleans Saints Pledge $1 Million for Victims of Bourbon Street Truck Attack


The New Orleans Saints and the NFL have pledged a combined $1 million to support the victims of a deadly truck attack on Bourbon Street that occurred on New Year’s Day. The donation includes $1 million from the Saints and a matching amount from the NFL Foundation, the league’s charitable arm. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell expressed solidarity with the New Orleans community, emphasizing the league’s commitment to providing aid during this tragic time.


Thirteen of the 14 victims have been identified, with ages ranging from 18 to 63. Saints owner Gayle Benson expressed the collective heartbreak felt by the city, acknowledging the devastating impact of the attack. The tragedy has left the community reeling as it mourns the lives lost and supports those affected by the violence.
