 Anambra Govt Warns Against Purchase of Encroached Land at Trans-Nkissi By MaryAnn Chukwuma The Anambra State Ministry of Lands has warned members of the public against purchasing plots at TransNkissi Phase 1, behind the Federal Government Girls College, Onitsha, from persons claiming ownership on behalf of the Umuosodi family of Onitsha. The warning was contained in a public notice dated Sept. 28, 2026, with Ref. No. PS/ML/2026/CR/VOL.II/028 and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Nkeiru Mokwe, for the Commissioner. According to the notice, the Ministry became aware that persons alleged to be members of the Umuosodi family had invaded and commenced clearing portions of the land with the intention of selling them to unsuspecting members of the public. It said compensatory plots had been allocated to the family and other families in Onitsha before the current administration.  NYSC DG: Corps Members to Receive N77,000 Monthly from February


Brigadier General Yushau Ahmed, the Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has announced that corps members will begin receiving a revised monthly allowance of N77,000 starting in February 2025.


Speaking on Thursday to the 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream II corps members in Katsina, Ahmed confirmed that the allowance increase has been factored into the 2025 Federal Government budget and will take effect once the budget is passed.


“January has already ended, but once the budget is approved, corps members will start receiving N77,000 instead of the current N33,000 by next month (February),” he stated.


Ahmed reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the welfare and security of corps members, urging them to serve with dedication in appreciation of the gesture.


He also assured corps members that they would not be deployed to areas with security risks, stating: “We will not post corps members to locations facing security threats. Wherever they are deployed, they can be assured that the area is safe and secure for their service.”

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
