 Anambra Govt Warns Against Purchase of Encroached Land at Trans-Nkissi By MaryAnn Chukwuma The Anambra State Ministry of Lands has warned members of the public against purchasing plots at TransNkissi Phase 1, behind the Federal Government Girls College, Onitsha, from persons claiming ownership on behalf of the Umuosodi family of Onitsha. The warning was contained in a public notice dated Sept. 28, 2026, with Ref. No. PS/ML/2026/CR/VOL.II/028 and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Nkeiru Mokwe, for the Commissioner. According to the notice, the Ministry became aware that persons alleged to be members of the Umuosodi family had invaded and commenced clearing portions of the land with the intention of selling them to unsuspecting members of the public. It said compensatory plots had been allocated to the family and other families in Onitsha before the current administration.  Ondo Government Mourns the Passing of SSG Tayo Oluwatuyi


The Ondo State Government has announced the death of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Tayo Oluwatuyi, popularly known as “Tukana.”  


Oluwatuyi passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at a state hospital where he was being treated for injuries sustained in a car accident on December 15, 2024, while traveling to Ibadan.  


In a statement, the Commissioner for Information, Wale Akinlosotu, described Oluwatuyi as a dedicated public servant whose contributions significantly impacted Ondo State. He noted that Oluwatuyi had served in various capacities, including as Chairman of Akure South Local Government, Commissioner, and twice as SSG.  


“Hon. Oluwatuyi will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to administrative coordination, policy advisory, and the development of Ondo State,” Akinlosotu said.  


The state government extended condolences to the Oluwatuyi family, friends, and associates, adding that details of memorial arrangements would be announced in due course.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
