 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  Ondo LG Election: Police Impose Movement Restriction, Exempt Essential Workers, Warn Troublemakers


Ahead of Saturday's local government election in Ondo State, the Nigerian Police have announced a restriction on vehicular and motorcycle movement during the polling period.


According to CSP Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, the Police Public Relations Officer, the restriction will be enforced from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm as part of security measures to ensure a smooth and peaceful election.


Commissioner of Police Wilfred Afolabi emphasized that individuals planning to disrupt the election should reconsider, as the police will deal firmly with any offenders.


Essential workers, including security personnel, healthcare providers, firefighters, and other emergency responders, are exempted from the restriction to enable them to carry out their duties.


Commuters intending to use the state as a transit route have been advised to adjust their travel plans accordingly.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
